Premier piano storage
Upright piano £30 per week – Grand piano £40 per week (prices include VAT)
- Protected from damage, covered and secured against dust and external damage.
- Protection from humidity variants, kept in 40%-60% humidity throughout the year.
- Protection from extreme temperature variants, kept at regular temperature of around 16c-20c in a fully insulated 2017 building reg premises.
- Protection from piano loosing pitch and going out of tune, for long term storage regular tunings as needed so when your piano is returned it hasn’t dropped in pitch.
- Protection from Moth damage.
- Grand pianos kept on their legs and not on their sides to secure against hammer movement and damper felt damage.
- 24/7 security.
- Storage premises are internally pressure tested as per 2017 building regs insuring environmental heat retention throughout the winter months and protecting from summer extremes of heat.
- On request photo of your piano with humidity and temperature readings.
- Water tight building and not near river or sea.
- Written valuation of your piano. If the value is low a deposit of £220 will be required. Rough valuation is given on enquiry and once the piano is in store we can confirm in writing. Valuation is crucial for our insurance.
Basic piano storage
Upright piano £10 per week – Grand piano £15 per week (prices include VAT).
- Protected from damage, covered and secured against dust and external damage.
- Protection from humidity variants, kept in 40%-65% humidity throughout the year.
- Protection from Moth damage.
- 24/7 Security.
- Water tight container and not near river or sea.
- Written valuation of your piano. If the value is low a deposit of £220 will be required. Rough valuation is given on enquiry and once the piano is in store we can confirm in writing.
Once you have decided between Basic or Premier storage contact us with the above details required and we will send you a piano storage agreement form.
