We have been established since 1964 when Ronald Ware the founder of our piano business completed his apprenticeship at Hickies & Hickies music shop Boscombe, Dorset where his master could also trace his learning lineage back to the 19th century. We have been expertly restoring, repairing and tuning pianos for Radio 4, music colleges, and were former County Council contract school piano tuners and repairers for Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, Harrow and Bucks. Our experience and expertise is second to none. We sell only Pianos; your piano purchase is special to us and would love to continue the after care for years to come!

A fully restored grand piano around 25/30 years ago, with a light touch and full bold tone but with the mellowness of the European old world brands. The case was restored in modern high gloss polyester, it’s not in perfect condition, please see above video where we have done our best to show a comprehensive depiction of the large shine patch fault on the top, please feel free to ask more questions on this as we may be able to respray the top part effected at an extra £700. The past restoration included a full restring and plate refinished and soundboard. New felts where they were required were also fitted and the dampers are new. The hammers were also replaced from original, we have also refaced these hammers to remove the small wear. Lovely octagonal turned legs and pedal lyre.
